  • Glad you enjoyed it! The piano part is generated by the computer though there is a fair amount of meta-control by a human (me). You can start and stop and control the various weightings of about 15 different algorithms that produce the music. I controlled/recorded the piano part, took a break for lunch, and returned and recorded the sopranino part as an improvised overdub in one take.

    Thanks again for listening!

  • Nice work. Congratulations.

    Greetings from Brazil.

  • Cool, David! Now YouTube enables me to watch your video!

I really enjoyed it. Greetings from Vienna, Karlheinz Essl.

  • I enjoyed this, although I think the balance favours the sax too much (as opposed to the piano). I should be interested to know if the piano part was generated by computer and played from a score by a human, or entirely computer-generated.
