Kyle and Fish Scenes 9-23-09

John came face-to-face with Mr. Fish at the Angel Square Hotel and was shocked when he claimed Oliver is no longer his son. When George went on to explain that Oliver is "a homosexual," John said that's none of his business. Marty, however, jumped to Oliver's defense and begged George not to make the same mistakes she did with Cole. Suddenly, Kyle and Nick were at the foot of the stairs kissing good-bye and Llanview's gayness was too much for George. Kyle overheard Oliver's father refer to his lifestyle as an "abomination" and stormed over. George blamed Kyle for corrupting his son, but Kyle noted that Oliver was always afraid of disappointing his father. Meanwhile, Oliver's mom made a clandestine visit to his apartment. Layla and Cristian gave them some time alone, and Barbara admitted that she'd always hoped Oliver would grow out of his "phase." Fish assured her that he didn't. Before she left, Oliver requested that she tell his father that he loves him. Barbara returned to the hotel to find her husband arguing with Kyle. Before leaving town, George went over to Oliver's apartment to say that he's always loved him; he just can't accept his lifestyle. Barbara promised to call her son soon. Fish was pained as he closed the door behind him.

@sweetnlovin yea exactly! i'm terrified of what will happen when i tell them.. i'm actually rite now collecting clips like these from the shows i've been watching a lot lately w/ gay couples (Verbotene Liebe - Oli and Chris, QAF Brian and Justin ..etc) .. and compiling them to try and tell my parents tht way.. xD we'll see if i have the nerve to send them to 'em .. good luck w/ u too hunn

I feel the exact same way you do. I'm bisexual and for me it's worse because my parents feel that's worse than being gay....and even tho I hate lying to them about who I am...I just feel like they would disown me...so yeah.....I wish you luck tho.

This left me in tears and was very painful to watch. This is EXACTLY what I fear will happen if I tell my parents. I'm happy I'm not just gay -but rather bisexual- I'll admit cause for the time being I can hide that part of me from them. I imagine it's a ton harder on Olliver. :'-(

I alway found the scene with McBian, Marty, Klye and Mr. Fish a little funny. Why would McBian leave Kyle and Mr. Fish alone would'nt he want to stay just incase something happen, because Fish's day is clearly upset? Also, at that time did he know Fish was gay and that he and Kyle had a thing...IDK why I alway wondered about that.
