even if torture works its still wrong we should be above such tactics because it is barbaric and wrong and these are the concepts we are fighting against so it is not only immoral it is hypocritical

@robbiec2490 True, but it's pointless to extract such specific conclusions from a broad spectrum of data. It's obvious that tortue works sometimes and sometimes it does not; what's actually important is the distribution of when it's right and when it's wrong. I don't really know which one occurs more often.... However according to this video, torture doesn't work more often then it does, therefore it is a bad idea.

torture has been around for thousands of years, used to extract information..it definitely works! obviously not in every case but it does work!
