Damn, amazed I actually beaten the second Babel level.

"Babel" is like a side-game where you try to reach the goal as fast as possible. The main thing is majority of the blocks that drops are RANDOM, hence, there will be no sure tactic as you must think quickly on the spot due to randomness before the "Drop Timer" gets you.

This also means you must make sure your decision won't affect the future blocks later on (which can cause you to be stuck and lose eventually).

"Babel: Menhir" is the second stage of four.

Since it took about 17 minutes for me to win (which was surprisingly since I thought I was going to die a few times), I had to split it into two parts.

I have a question, is this game solely puzzle based or are there some other elements to it?

Awake Phase, you socialize with people in the bar (that's when the story events takes place). You can drink and do minigame (Rapunzel) too. How you react to the people may affect whether they live or die in the next Phase.

Nightmare Phase, is the survival puzzle part dreaming, where you must climb the block towers to survive.

Socializing affects your karma meter (Order/Chaos) which affects how Vincent handles certain situations in the game as well as the possible eight endings.

While the drops are random, the drops can contain block patterns that I'm sure if I knew it all I can quickly figure out how to create the building block to climb up faster.

Great, the trap blocks are back. So if the second stage of Babel brought the spike blocks back, then...yikes.
