We haven't? We've won 4 of the last 6 Egg Bowls and just hired a coach who has never lost to Croom.
That stat is nice...it's basically the only one State can use. Going into 2004, Ole Miss was the only SEC West team to be bowl eligible for 7 straight seasons too.
Here's the deal...you won last year b/c of a bone-headed call. You had the league's last ranked offense and a QB that averaged 107 ypg. For that reason, almost every preseason publication expects Ole Miss to beat you soundly.

I saw this comment posted by someone else regarding UM's "dominance" in the Egg Bowl; "And I guess we may one day get something like a 'legacy' of segregation to help us get powerhouse whiteboys from all over the nation to make a 2 decade run too one day." I'll say again, you guys blew your load during the Vaught Era, and you haven't done a thing since. Check my reply to yeeolemiss so I don't have to retype it, Weeble!

Yeeolemiss; Y'all haven't done SHIT since '63! As a matter of fact, since the SEC separated into the east and west, only one team hasn't made it to a SEC championship. Can you take a stab as to who it is? Well, it's the Weebles if you don't know. Even Vanderbilt has been! VANDERBILT! You guys blew your load during the Vaught era.

Since they started battling for the Golden Egg, Ole Miss has won 30 more times. That means, State would have to win every year for the next three decades to catch up. 'Nuff said.
