Mentals....Currently touring OZ and at Smithfield RSL Saturday December 15 2012. Is this a Countdown clip?
Anyone got a clue? Looks like an official video but you never know in this crazy jungle.

no worries... did you spot the little scuffle close to the end of the clip, between Greedy, Red and some pissed off punter? hilarious!

One of the greatest song title's ever. I mean the more you think about it the funnier it is. Great band. Very down to earth. Their 'Creatures of Leisure' album from 83' was always my favorite, with some great artwork on the inner sleeve by 'Reg Mombassa' the group's lead guitarist.

We picked this song for my dad's funeral. He used to sing it to mum any time they split up (which was a lot of times haha). He would have loved that we picked this one.

Haha yes I sure noticed that the first time I saw it! Gosh I'd forgotten I had even posted on here, shows how often I sign in here! I can say one thing: I've now had the pleasure of seeing the Mentals in concert (well the current line-up anyway: two originals Martin and Greedy, and the new guys). Saw them twice last year; one was at a council event and the other was at the local services club later in the year. AWESOME!!! Love their music :)

Introduced to the 'Mentals' back in 83/84 while living in Manly and boy did your sounds add to the fun of one of the best years of my life. If our paths should ever cross I can assure you, it would be a great pleasure to spend the night watching the nips growing ever bigger in size with you. Thanks for being part of my music history.

As one of the writers of this song. Thanks for all the great comments, especially the one of the young girl who played it at her dad's funeral. Half way around the world, I sit and hold back my tears. May all your skies be sunny.

ahhhh, Hobart back when it was quiet and simple. That shot of salamancer is crazy because it is now full of bars and cafes and you're lucky to get a park.
