Mayerson Summer Service Program - Flashmob 2011

The Mayerson Foundation (Cincinnati, Ohio) sponsors a Summer Service Program during which high school students from diverse schools live in a college dorm while serving full-time in inner city agencies serving low income families, residential programs for the indigent with chronic mental illness, soup kitchens, poor elders, and food banks. The Program celebrates service with a "flashmob" on Fountain Square. Members of Starfire Council - an agency that provides education, recreation, and service opportunities to adults with developmental disabilities - join the flashmob to share the week of service and to demonstrate the adage, "Together We Are Better."
