  • That is correct! I bought the plates on Ebay and registered them to the car....Michigan is liberal to the old car hobby. Paid 25 bucks to

register and the plates are good for life!!!

  • Funny you should say that ...we have a bright yellow '76 sedan and love it!!!

  • Thanks Norm...she is still chugging along

  • Very well said...Thanks!

  • sorry Mike..read it wrong!...Go USA Iron!

  • On the first shot of the Pacer, that's an actual Michigan license plate from 1976. It was designed for America's bicentennial. Goes well with an American Motors car.

  • Pacer all the way... but not those ones that you showed in the clips... bleh..

    76 Pacer sedan!

    not wagon lol

  • What next ? Nissan GTR vs Chevrolet Spark...?

  • i always thought that model Subaru looked like a Pacer. I personally think they both are kinda ugly. I drove a Pacer (given to me by my grandmother when i got out of the Navy) for about 8 months back in '88. It wasn't the best car I ever drove, but it got me from A to B (most of the time) and was Wayne's World Sky Blue....

  • I love how the point of this video flies right over the heads of the Ritalin Generation.

The awesome Porsche 928 also took styling cues from the Pacer. Never noticed the Subaru till now, pretty amazing. If it was 2 door there would probably be lawsuits from whomever still owns the rights to the Pacer.

  • @tommy2b2 So are you saying that the AMC Eagle is nothing like a Subaru, a station wagon that has four wheel drive, defiantly sounds like a Subaru to me.
