@ultrafishmaniac Absolutely. She definitely can write very catchy material, but at the same time make it so much her own that she wouldn't fit amongst the typical Top 40 pop crap. She's one of those artists whose style you'd instantly recognize, which says a lot :)

@inuliger Oh, she had it right. It was all my mistake. Seriously, Utada is more talented than many of the kpop singers I've encountered. Her songs are catchy in the traditional sense, however. And that's fine.
