Doug"s sound continues to amaze me. That sound is so thick and heavy it's like honey dripping off a Swedish girls tush in February! So close to sounding like it could be in a metal band and so sonically pleasing to the listener.

His tone is killer, not to mention is playing as well... The only pedulla bass that I've play was a fretless, it looked exactly like Doug Johns' bass, but in white... Those basses are extremely comfortable to play and they're well balanced and don't "neck-dive" when you're sitting with it... I need one of those basses...
