The bum-wiggler for release number one comes in the form of the coincidentally titled Combat, which has recently been causing waves on the message boards. Engineered by Hard House Hero Dave Parkinson (as is the flip), it has an old school bubbly funky bass line brought right up to date. The rattling and interesting percussion, housey stabs and a great uplifting and funky yet gritty riff combine to make this track essential and I can see it getting great support by many djs all over the country in the early parts of the night. The production is spot on, with plenty of interesting bits and bobs for the talented djs to mess with.
