  • I live in Durango and I'm a Biologist and there're some collegues of mine who still keep exploring the old-growth forest searching for the Imperial Woodpecker

  • Good grief that almost looks like movie quality from that era. What a remarkable piece of documentation!

  • Amazing film. Having a chance to explore this area of mountainous Durango Mexico on horseback in the '50's and record it with high quality 16mm film-what a great experience! Dr Rhein must have been an amazing gentleman to hang out with!
