Finally finished the dual sidedraft project. Dual sidedraft manifold, 2 solex 40phh, 4-1 header, starlet electronic ignition/distributor, 2" piping from header to muffler. Soon to have GTS front with coil overs. T3 camber plates and bump steers. TE27 steering arms and a TE27 rear differential. Not sure which rims yet, but I do have some 13x7 Minilites.

  • nice motor.sounds like a leaking valve there, do a compression test?

  • @Liamautomechanic Compression on all cylinders are good. one of the butterflies on the Solex was open and I had a leak on the manifold.

  • good memories.

  • good car, i drove one of these 26 years ago. u can see whats left of my ke20. on my channell.[ my 1978 toyota corolla]@ you tube.

  • Very nice, a real car!

  • nice...sounds like a jeepney

  • nice project

  • why will it not last long?

  • this engine isnt going to last long

  • nice fart box! better than those lata ng nido kalaki hahah

  • Sounds excellent...love those sidedrafts...Thank You!

  • I do have an electric fan, but haven't really had the time to install it or maybe just too lazy. The fuel consumption on this is really crappy with the dual sidedraught setup. I still have to tweak and mess with the jettings more to really appreciate it.

  • Taking the belt driven fan off and putting on an electric one was the best $40-50 bucks I've spent on this car. You would most likely feel some freed up HP, it would get rid of some extra noise, and it would cool your engine more effectively. Just run a fuse on the wire to a hot wire, or you can use a variety of switches, manual or thermostat. Sweet! Engine still sounds really cool, what kind of mileage do you get with that beauty?

  • Tnx, dude. Intake came from a buddy and the header is also rom a buddy. Header was custom made from the Philippines and was brought here ages ago. I am in S.San Francisco. I have the stock belt driven fan.

  • Soundin really nice man, where'd you get your intake manifold and header? I'm surprised at how different that sounds from my ke20 4K. Are you running the stock belt driven fan? Oh and where do you live?

  • Thanks, bro!

  • Looking good, keep it up!
