Pick Up The Pieces - Anas Canon featuring El Général (Tunisia) & Kumasi

Remarkable Current's Hip Hop Ambassadors were invited by the US Embassy in Tunisia to tour the country using hip hop as the medium to raise awareness and get young people excited about voting in their upcoming presidential election. While on this tour, RC was fortunate to connect with one of Tunisia's most influential MC's, El Général. Anas Canon and Kumasi spent two days in El Général's home town of Sfax, where they met him, connected deeply about shared musical influences in the world of hip hop, as well as the similarities in their backgrounds and family histories. El Général gladly accepted Anas' invitation to collaborate on a song, and after a day of writing and recording in Sfax, inspired by the Tunisian Revolution and their new bond of friendship, Pick Up The Pieces was born!
