I'm not in any way 'religious' but why do Atheists,in particular,feel the need to make disparaging/disrespectful comments on the death of someone who meant so much to so many people?! What purpose does it serve,if any?!

To say that "You don't know anything because you are too young" is to shoot yourself in the fucking head. You think you know more than me about Atheism? Let me ask you, old man. What is Atheism? @kmalobe1 ,I simply do not feel that simply not having the same belief base is reason enough for Atheists,or some Atheisits,to be so offensive about what is such a sensitive event as the death of the Pope.It's not about their opposition to religion.THAT I can handle,we're all entitled to think whichever way we choose.It's just the distasteful manner they use to attack the Pope's death.

For one thing, logic and Atheism do not belong in the same sentence and you are proving my point about Atheism. You call us stupid and backwards simply because we don't think the way you do. what belief? atheist doesnt mean that i dont believe in your god but i believe to something/someone else. it means that i believe to no god. i didnt ever make such comments but i believe that they are trolling. its kinda funny to me that if someone says something about the pope's death, many people that are going to watch this comment and feel bad about it. they dont really mean "I HOPE HE DIES". they dont even know him. (continuing cuz no characters left ><)
