I think you should include a reference to the origin of the background music. It is "Stella Splendens" from the "Llibre Vermell" of Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat in Catalonia near Barcelona. It is religious piece from "Ars Nova" and was composed anonymously (of course) in the XIVth century.

? What an odd choice of images to put with Stella Splendens...the old walking carol...

Sounds like music from Final Fantasy 9!

The Greek helmet stood out from the medieval context a bit - as did at least one of the castles as far as I could tell... But overall the video was nice and I liked the music.

Oh aye, I like a good diphthong too! So 'gaol' then? Does that derive from one of those obscure languages like Cornish or Manx or something?

It is a Catalan medieval song. Lyrics: "Star shining on the mountain, as a ray of sunshine serrated [Montserrat]. Miraculously, Listen to your people [Catalan people]. From all sides come together. Your joyous pilgrims, rich and poor, large and small. In this same place come, to light their eyes And here again full of grace."
That was entertaining. Loved the music & video.
However, the 7-course renaissance lute in the video next to the medieval 5-course lute was an anachronism, if it wasn't there for comparison. It's almost as anachronistic as Bing Crosby's early 1900s lutar being made in the 13th century, as claimed in Pennies From Heaven.

Hello StrixNoctis. Somewhere back in the Dark Ages, there was a guy dreaming of that 7-course Lute. LOL & 8-)
