they tend to beat each other out from time to time but mostly nvidia is just a more poular brand with more graphics cards but really u cant have the best

i am not saying ati is garbage, just number 2 in the rankings of best graphic cards. nvidia has proven to show better performance than ati out of the box. look at the best of the best of both companies and you will find that the nvidia cards will have better specs.

hey i would go ati second to nvidia. i wouldn't trust intel's video cards. i think they might be in the case of "stick to what you know" category.

if you searched enough you could build a PC, that pretty much carries a lifetime warranty, the lowest warranty you'll likely get on a part would be something like 5 years, that's about 4 more years of warranty than you'll get with buying a prebuilt system, and then like I said some of the parts have lifetime warranties.

Quality, Cheaper, Learn Something, Longer Warranties, Take Pride in what you made.

yeah, personally I would just build one yourself, you could build a better PC for the same price, or the same thing for cheaper.

there's bound to be a markup, with all the overhead they have to pay, electricity, employees salaries, the shipping companies, and the assembly companies.

besides you take pride in it doing it yourself, you learn something new, and you can research each part to make sure you have a quality PC.

and some parts carry a lifetime warranty.

Nvidia also offers 3D Vision, contrary to popular belief, it's actually quite incredible, and no I'm not a hardcore Nvidia fan, I use to like ATI, but once I got a taste of 3D Vision, I was sold.

I can prove I liked ATI at one point, just google this: "Does Anyone Know If Nvidia Has A Reply To Radeon's 4870x2?"

yea i have a pretty new dell computer i bought just 2 years ago and the video card cnat even run the simplest games, its only even got 85mb of video ram! well thats what i get for buying a dell, the fucking thing cost me 1700 too :(
