The progression of potholes on Seaman Avenue & Beak Street in New York City. The potholes developed following several snow storms and the street being plowed for snow removal. Year after year, the potholes are filled in, but recur. It can take months for them to be repaired. As a result of the particularly harsh winter, they are worse than usual. Southbound cars are now forced to use the northbound lane to proceed southbound on Seaman Avenue. It is a dangerous situation.

  • i think nyc should hold an off road race throughout the boroughs, the off shoot of the baja 500. perfect road conditions the richest city using the cheapest materials. wonder if the goal is to get new yorkers to buy SUV's or keep them off the roads, its not cool having to replace tires and rims and other parts because flimsy stuff. we should learn from common sense approches used in similar cities with great roads food for thought. bandades and crappy roads in nyc.
