THE ESSENCE OF CONGO!

Amazing Methodist church service in Kamina DRC, Congo, with Pennslyvania Bishop Tom Bickerton. The depth of their joy and faith in God is infinite and beautiful. We witnessed so much singing in Congo and the joy that you see in other African countries. We were there to launch Imagine No Malaria, a new partnership with the Methodist church and UN Foundation, Gates and Global Fund to eliminate malaria in most African countries by 2015. It involves an integrated approach with net distributions, education, communication, and above all access to medicines that can treat it once contracted. Malaria kills 1 mill. people a year, most of those children, and is preventable and treatable.
