"FOOTY LEGENDS" interview

Writer/Director Khoa DO and Writer/Actor Anh DO spoke with The Movie Show Online about their latest film FOOTY LEGENDS.

Set in Sydney's western suburbs, FOOTY LEGENDS is a feel-good comedy with serious socio-political undertones.

We follow a group of misfit youth from Yagoona, who are plagued by unemployment and legal trouble. Our central protagonist, Luc (stand-up comedian Anh DO), is threatened with losing custody of his little sister Anne (Lisa SAGGERS).

Led by Luc, the misfits form a rag-tag football team to compete for the Holden Cup. They must hold their own against real footy legends Bradley CLYDE, Gary LARSON, Cliff LYONS, Rod WISHART & Brett KENNY (playing themselves).

Winning the Holden cup will save Anne from foster care and secure employment for all our boys...

This was a really good film, story is everything and it shows you don't need a action packed movie with big names and guns and fires and people being shot up. This is a true family feel good film. Good on the filmmakers.

i know i shouldnt be doing this, but does anyone know where i could find a torrent for this? I've tried going everywhere, including video ezy, i just cant find a dvd copy of this film anywhere, so i figured torrents are the way to go (I'd pay if i could, it's a fantastic movie). so yeah, if anyone has a working torrent i'd appreciate that :)
