Recorded live at WHEE! 3, the High Times Freedom Festival, held near Columbus, Ohio, in 1999. Jack Casady doesn't make many of the gigs, and his particpation is essential for this song.

  • She's no Grace Slick, that's for sure. Is it really that difficult to memorize the lyrics? Jack is great, as usual...

  • check out Cathy Richardson...grace Slick clone EXCELLENT voice

  • Nobody should be allowed to sing this song other than Grace Slick or a god damned clone of her! You need Ms. Slick's psychedelic passion and powerful voice to make this song work.

  • good version

  • Just wish Grace was still able.

  • shes not bad like this version

  • For the original version go to Grace Slick and The Great Society,

  • this is not jefferson arplane.

this is jefferson starhip plus jack casady.

and is very strange that he played with them while he was with hot tuna

  • What a great video.

    Jack kills !

I see Marty in the background.

I've lived around Columbus , Ohio almost all my life ( 50 years ) and I've never heard of the HIgh Times Festival .

Anyone know where it was held in 1999 where this video was filmed ?

  • Diana Mangano - she's a beauty, and has great stage presence (and is much better than anything Gracie could manage anymore). This is really pretty good, an entirely worthy remounting of the Jefferson Airplane experience.
