Actually being transgender is normal if by "normal" we mean "natural." There are plenty of transgender animals by role, not just those who completely change gender biologically. As for surgery, you could also say getting a shoulder reconstruction isn't normal.

If you want to define normal as "what I do" then some people would say hunting and gathering isn't normal: statistically, hardly anyone lives that way. But of course, it is both normal and natural.

Surgical proceedures can't make what was born as a man into a woman, even by replacing parts. You've still got a counterfeit. Which following that logic, you'd probably trade for at the bank.
