@camlpg "Why don't you prove that the Mayan time table does not start at the flood?"
Even if it did that doesn't prove shit. The Mayan calendar is also rooted in Sumerian culture so if there are similarities in the stories it is because of their common origin.
Why don't you prove that a massive flood was caused by God's wrath? Doesn't sound very loving or forgiving to me. Idk why anybody would believe in a god that punishes you for disobeying them.
the number one thing i hear from them is reference to the formation of radioactive isotopes, the "halos" found in rocks implying the were made instantaneously. The claim of the earth being made basically overnight, does not automatically follow from the fact that certain geographical formations were made instantaneously.
Have you ever heard of carbon dating?
Or is that just like the fossils that Satan put here to make us "question our faith"?
The evidence that young earth creationists often site for "proof" is laughable at best. They have an extremely flawed sense of logic, involving only accepting evidence that supports their claims(most of which is subjective and not based on fact) while ignoring anything that negates it.(multiple centurys of scientific study)
Just because something that was suggested in the Bible actual happened, does not mean that it is an accurate historical account. Do you believe that the earth was made in 7 days and is only 6000 years old?
I don't care which religion you subscribe to, just take it with a grain of salt. The Bible was written by men, not "God", so it is subject to flaw. You know what we call people who "hear God talking to them" nowadays?
You are a jackass. The Bible that you seem to be so intrigued with, was based on the epics of the Sumarians, the first culture to have written language. The story of Jesus and all the details associated with it, are represented by several other cultures, all of which came before Christianity. Its not an original story so shove that up your ass. It always amazes me how many people believe the ridiculous story the Bible portrayed, yet ignore incredibly accurate ancient calendar systems
Just more bunk on trying to push evolutionary theory. Mayans did not believe in evolution. Mayan time periods are called BACTUNS and the Mayan history only goes back to a GREAT FLOOD - Can anyone say Noah?

@cheezmo722 You merely chastise me for believing the Bible, well that does no support for your arguement.
Why don't you prove that the Mayan time table does not start at the flood?
Also, if Sumarians believed in a universal flood, does this not agree with what the Bible says?
Furthermore, most ethnic groups throughout the world believe in a universal flood .
Here is a Bronk's cheer in text-form )))))))---------.
