@mpxd45 HST from federal are also very good i feel confident with either in my guns

I have recently gotten in a box of the 127 +P+ version and will include it in the next test session.
-
@andreleger2001 i have tested the 127 gr and it looks alot like the 124 gr you tested, probably performs very similarly with a little more penetration, these newer 9mm rangers seem to be a little more penetration oriented than the older "sxt" ranger bullets

No thise are standard pressure 147 Gr. rounds. I am pretty sure there are 3 loads for 9mm. 147 Gr, 124 Gr. +P, and 127 Gr +P+. I have recently tested the 147 and 124 +P loads, but cannot find the 127 Gr. +P+ weight in stock anywhere.

Nice test. Question are those +P+?
-
Actually, I just did a similar test with a bonded bullet and, with full expansion, I had lead covering the entirety of each petal.
Great vid. Thanks.

I do not think these are bonded, just well made I suppose.
Which is the best grain load for this round? I like heavy per caliber, and I think that the standard pressure 147gr will have recoil which is more manageable in a pocket sized 9mm and offer decent penetration for self defense. Your thoughts?

@jpap967 Either the 147 Gr. or the 124 Gr. +P would be my choice.
