I studied all about the New Testament for 5 years, in church and at home on my own. I left Christianity after about 10 years later. I researched and read everything I could. I just now found Dr. Bart Ehrman and he is correct.

Bart Ehrman is the man!

@jamal7israel People have claimed to be in the end times, since the notion of end times existed.

What are you replying to?

@AgApE010 So you find a book with a bunch of writing claiming to be from God, yet it has no freaking author or certainty of who wrote it, yet accept it as a Divine Revelation.
Do you know how stupid that is?

@derhammerman Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

@derhammerman There have been wars throughout history but look at the Babylon the Great in the scriptures. I don't think any other ppl lived in a time when it was fit for these prophecies to come to past. Now a days many countries have nukes and we seem to be on the verge to WW3 maybe in our life time. I guess is that wen the dollar collapse the government will probably try to force rfid chips which seem to match the mark of the beast spoke of in the Bible.

@jamal7israel Yes, I've read Revelation. I'm a former minister. However, there have always been wars and there will always be people looking to control others. You interpret current events any way you want to fit your worldview. It's all meaningless to me. Tell me, why is John of Patmos credible? Please answer objectively. Don't say, "well this or that seems to have come true". Give me a definitive answer, please.

@derhammerman You don't think we are living in Biblical Last Days with all the wars, weather changes, increases in evil, and the invention of RFID chips which might be the mark of the beast? Have you read in Revelations Babylon the Great and do u think it might be America?

@jamal7israel It's hard to dispute supernatural events. If they can't be verified or falsified, they're made-up.
at 23:40 "with a jaundiced eye" What is that suppose to mean? What a dumbass...imo

@spaceboy1250, To view something with a jaundiced eye is a centuries old figure of speech, which means a colored or prejudiced viewpoint. Your own comment is a perfect illustration of this-You didn't understand what that speaker was saying, so you said he was the dumb one.

How is Acts a forgery if it doesn't name an author?
Also, in 1 Corinthians 14 Paul says the same thing that is said in 1 Timothy concerning women. So there doesn't seem to be a contradiction between the two.

@AgApE010, Forgery is the making of a document with the intent to deceive.

@ForBibletruth
No, in his book he identifies a forgery as a pseudopigraphal writing written to deceive specifically by claiming to be someone you're not.

@AgApE010, Yes, well it has always been taught by the Church that Acts was written by Luke, and Acts "seems" to refer to that Gospel in Acts 1:1-2.
