peter has done this shit for a very very long time you dont see it as when its done there are other factors. and this old guy who bust most of you wide open trust me
Does the clip say " punching for the ring" ?? no it's about the street not the UFC you dick, I have trained with this guy and he and geoff thompson are the real deal, try getting off the sofa and training with them before you comment. knob.
Sigh, all this talk about telegraphing. When done correctly the hip and the hand look like they move simultaneously as the punch is millseconds behind the hip.. He's breaking it down here for instructional purposes.
If you are standing from a tournament distance, this will telegraph your intentions badly. At a distance of 18 inches, as he mentioned, the hip movement is too small, and the hip and punch too fast, for the vast majority of defender to react adequately.
I think the point is that in a fight (e.g. when your opponent realise he's fighting you) it would be telegraphed but the purpose is to strike your would be assailant before they've actually started attacking you whilst disguising what you're about to do with dialogue, in other words a sucker punch.
doesnt matter. no one can react fast enough to block that, despite the telegraphing. combine that with deception (talking), and the chances of dealing with it are close to zero.
The sound? what is is happening ? I did the dubble for about 16yrs, now don't see the purpose of it, the Shotokan hip twist is faster and just as strong!
