BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT CAPTURED IN DAYTONA
(Palm Bay)—Daytona Beach Police have arrested a suspect who confessed to a series of bank robberies including one in Palm Bay that occurred on Saturday. Bryant Reeves, (dob 08-07-1957) was taken into custody at the Raintree Hotel on Ridgewood Avenue in Daytona Beach after patrol officers there received information that he was staying at the hotel with two females. Following up on the information, the officer located the suspect and he was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia. Palm Bay Police Detectives were contacted and interviewed the suspect who confessed to the robbery at the Riverside National Bank on Malabar Road and two other robberies, one in Delray Beach and another in Indian River County. Reeves, a self described "gypsy" recently released from a Pennsylvania prison, told detectives he needed money for drugs and was on his way to .Mississippi. "Fortunately someone recognized him and did the right by calling police," said Detective Steve Hill. "Daytona Beach Police did a great job following the information and making the arrest." Detective Hill added that he believes Reeves was traveling up Interstate 95 and robbing banks whenever he needed money as he made his way to the Gulf Coast.

SUSPECT SOUGHT IN BANK ROBBERY
(Palm Bay)—Patrol officers and detectives are currently searching for a suspect in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 11:15 a.m. a white male in his mid to late fifties approximately 5'10" tall, large build wearing a neon green colored t-shirt entered the Riverside National Bank located at 1159 Malabar Road and approached the teller with a note. The note implied he had a gun and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the bank on foot. It's believed he walked across the street and got into a vehicle parked between Walgreens and Lowes and fled towards I-95. Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance videos in an attempt to obtain a vehicle description. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
