Bottom line jones won the fight and has had the best start in MMA history full stop.

do yourself a favour and watch the Gracie Breakdown for UFC 140. When you can push up on your wrist for torque, instead of pull up, to tighten a guillotine like he did to Lyoto, terms like "takedown defence" and "finding the distance" become peripheral at 205. As long as Bones doesn't get caught a la GSP/Serra, then the cocky bastard has only himself to blame for a loss with the roster as it stands. @MrWolfman1977 Machida himself said it that Jones didn't do anything wrong by dropping him, he said "you can't expect Jones to make love to me" by gently laying him down afterwards. Machida understands that THEY WERE IN A FIGHT.

BTW the definition of cocky is overconfident....How the fuck is dropping Machida after choking him make Jones overconfident???

Jones impressed me as always, but he really has a long way to go with his striking. He has to do much better than that so he can hang in there with Anderson until he gets the takedown and finish him.

@tictac2300 What are you talkin about he dropped Machida with a counter hook then jumped on him and gave him a elbow to the face. Then later he chocked him standing up.This is MMA not a kickboxing contest. You can't asume that he would've lost without the choke. Fights are always what ifs..What if Mir did get a hold of Brocks foot, what if Fedor didin't tap out, what if Rampage didn't get taken down,what if what if what if,c'mon the kid deserves respect..still no proof he has no chin

@OutsideTheRopes Dude if jones hadnt choked him out he was on his way to a loss period....jones was exposed a little bit,if you close the distance between jones jones could be in trouble...jones isnt really a threat at striking like i first thought...fortunatly for jones i dont see anybody in the middle weight division that can close the distance between him and take advantage....and im sayen that as a big jone jones fan
