Some day soon I'm a-gonna have lots of money and buy a beautiful place in Scotland and have a beautiful woman to enjoy it with! We'll enjoy holding hands and walking around the grounds and she'll tell me all about the land Scotland. We'll drink plenty of great beer and eat the finest foods and travel in our motor car to see the castles and ruins! She'll be amazed at what a fun guy I am and adore the crap out of me and I'll give her lots of money to go shopping with so she'll always look nice!!

Edinburgh is historical and wonderfully spectacular!! I live here and still appreciate it's splendour. For excellent architecture look no further than Auld Reekie!

Thanks for sharing! I miss Edinburgh. Most beautiful city!

Great video. I live in Los Angeles, so I may not be the best person to say this but I've been to Edinburgh a few times and it's a lovely city with lovely people. I would live there (maybe part-time) if I could. Simply beautiful. My fav city along with Paris.

@isctony Certainly does at that time of year. Was recorded on 26th, 5 days after the shortest day of the year.

I'm from Texas and was just there for Christmas. Thanks for this video. What software did you use for the time-lapse?
The ferris wheel looked fun (and cold)... Saw the German sales booths in the vendors section. Great and wonderful city that Edinburgh is... Probably my favorite in the world.

Hi, glad you like the video It was recorded as a Quicktime .mov file on my camera I then used Rad video tools to split the video to jpeg files (1 for each frame) then used Virtualdub to convert the jpegs to Divx avi, dropping frames to get the the required length of video. Thanks to Meltec2 for his advice on this. You should check out his timelapse "Koya Moments" it's a stunning piece of video with a great choice of music to go with it.
