First off, if you have max The Art of the Inferno, use that. It does a good amount of damage to his first form. Another thing I did, I don't recommend, is to use the Fire Wheels to damage him. Not as good as the Art of the Inferno, but it gets the job done.

The second form is the form I had the most trouble with. I didn't think to use the Vigoorian Flail against it. Use that, and if you have Ninpo left over, use the Fire Wheels when the heads fly at you, which damages the boss as well.

Use every Incendiary Shuriken, Strongbow arrows, Explosive Arrows, and APFSDS Cores you have against him, and when he lands on a platform, slash away.

then I defeated Murai with the low health UF. All thanks goes to Bigalski. I xould never have done it without him

it took me forever to beat this boss cause of the huge skull with horns..it would eat me everytime..i couldnt get away from it

@geico39 thanxs for the explaination. i love Sigma but the addition of playing as Rachel kinda slows the game because shes not as fast or easy to control as Ryu, not to mention has very limited supplies like weapons and ninpo. but i do like that the improved graphics and longer campaign, i like long games

@DethMagnetik Ninja gaiden black was exclusively for the original xbox, and most people that had ps2 's bought an xbox just to get this game. Ninja gaiden sigma was made several years later for the early ps3, and team ninja felt playstation fans were missing out, so they remade ninja gaiden black with better graphics and a slightly longer campaign where some parts you play as Rachel, which was a bad marketing move considering most everyone played the original.
