In 1983 the renowned psychedelic rock duo known at that time as Uncle Ian and the Tooth Decay, latterly known as Uncle Ian, were invited to do a tour of Shrewsbury by the infamous Shropshire double act known as the Land of Yrx Environmental Studies Group Glee Club, shortly to become known as The Land of Yrx. What happened that fateful weekend, centred around the historic Quarry bandstand has gone down in the annals of Severn Valley history as one of the major "sound collage" events of the 20th century (in Shrewsbury). This unique evidence of the occurence has been un earthed by the erstwhile Rob Andrews of said beat combo and placed here on the electronic web as a reminder to all those who should wish to repeat this folly that it can result in pain and anguish for all those involved. Please take heed.
Featuring Dave Gate, Mark Francombe and Nick Elborough
