Malakhov seems to allow for a naturalness in simple movements that you rarely see in ballet. It's refreshing, daring. Fascinating. That final kiss is enchanting beyond words.
It's not that Malakhov is untalented, but I find him unconvincing in pas de deux work. His characterization is off. I think it's because he's a poor actor, not because he is homosexual. Marcelo Gomes is also gay, and he's incredibly sexy and passionate in his pas de deux work.

Malakhov is not a bad dancer but he is definitly not one of my favorites!
However I loved Julie's preformance! She is a great great dancer!
