Mass Effect 2 Fan Made Trailer

This is a fan made trailer/music video I made for the game Mass Effect 2 by Bioware. I wanted to make sort of a commercial/trailer for the game, as I have been used to making sort of music video designs with some of the previous ones I have made, however it kind of ended up turning into a hybrid of the two. I really wanted to add some more voices/audio from the game, but seeing as how all of the videos that have been posted for the game so far already have a good deal of both dialogue and music in the background, it would have been a little more difficult to try an extract that for the video. So I ended up using some of the original video/audio mix at the beginning and end of the video, but added the music and text for the rest with the rest of the video clips.

I do not claim to own any rights to the game Mass Effect 2, or the song included, as it is just a fan created video.

Thanks to everyone viewing and commenting on this over the past few months, as I really do appreciate the feedback. I will actually be working on a few more ME2 vids (as well as some ME1 vids hopefully) in which I hope to include some of both male and female Shepard as soon as I get done frapsing (is that a word?) some of my recent games. Again, thank you all for the feedback so far.

Thanks, I actually used Adobe Premiere to make the video itself, and if I can get the time, hope to make a few more soon.

Thanks! I am not any kind of official movie editor or anything, though I do appreciate the comment, as I never considered myself that great at this, but I do try an make a few vids like these when I can in my spare time, even though I only have a few posted. I actually made this trailer before ME2 came out, so I didn't have any good footage of femshep, but do plan on making some more here soon if I can find the time. Thanks again.

Because Mass Effect is a action rgp/ third person shooter. Since the shooter elements are strong in Mass Effect the target market is young males (see Call of Duty, Halo, Gears of Wars, etc). Women are not really interested in shooters so it makes sense that Mass Effect is targeted towards men.

(Sigh) Why dosen't anyone ever make a trailer with a fem. Shepard? It's good and all of course, I just find it annoying that bioware only markets Shepard as a guy, when there are planty of fem. Shepards out there, including me.
