@uglynailsrock no that's you sweetie, but I will say how I love that they are having such fun, especially the two guys at the back playing on their twangers. It was so great when you didn't have to be so contrived, you could just take the piss on stage. Or even have one. We were so free then, and now music has strangled itself with a fucking autotuner.

@custardaghost .. We meet again, Bands like Sex Pistols, U2 and many more REFUSED to go on TOTP.. The terminolgy re recored is mythogy.. The correct phrase is doubled tracked vocals. This still happens to this day incase there's a technical hitch during a live show/concert.. Do you get up in the morning and eat a bowl of, how to slaver absolute pish,, custardpie.

Back then, TOTP policy was that the vocals were live but the music had to be re-recorded onto a specific-for-the-show backing track and then mimed to. Hence the reason so many TOTP performances had band members dressing up, pissing about, John Peel on ukelele etc. etc.

what a classic from summer of 1978, wish they wud reform and tour. class song from my youth always rember this and -run for home by lindisfarne and goldie making up again. 3 classics from summer 78. why is there no great songs on radio anymore. god help the kids of tday who have crap thrown at them on radio and tv
