When I was 8, I won a contest at my local library in Bartonville, Illinois. For writing a most excellent book report I was to be featured on "Reading Rainbow", the famed show on PBS.

I am, indeed, the real Meagan Wiebler. There is only one Meagan Wiebler in the world, and I don't know why anyone would go around pretending to be me because my life is not that amazing. If you feel the need to verify my identity, you can find me on Facebook or Twitter as @megslice.

  • So, I did a review like yours back in the 80s. I can't find it though - how did you get this video? Any ideas for me?

  • @tamberstone I had it on an old VHS tape, I used a codec to rip it to my computer. That's my only suggestion for you, sorry!

  • If you like my Reading Rainbow video, see me all grown up in my newest video, my round 3 submission to Charlie Sheen's #TigerBloodIntern competition!

  • Do you still wear glasses?

  • @TheManAbove Only sometimes, but I've worn contacts since I was 9 years old.

  • how old are you now?

  • @ashbug30 24, I'll be 25 next August.

  • Thumbs up if you were born between 1979 and 1990 and you grew up watching reading rainbow!!!

  • @matdoomn I know... I'd have to be pretty lame to impersonate an unknown 8 year old on Youtube.

  • That's a pretty beat up book.

  • I guess when they said the program was made possible by viewers like you, they were serious.
