Is that Trevor Dawson from the San diego area by chance? I think I went to school with him way back when. Well that is one big flathead and as far as I know, thats about as big as they get here in Havasu.

It was Lake Havasu, AZ - We noodled it. About 15ft. down under a log...took both us to get it. They usually take them on live bluegill.

"There he goes!"
And the fish doesn't move.

And the point of this comment is? If you know anything about catch and release, many times the fish are tired and need to be Resuscitated - simply forward and back movements to get water over their gills. Once it was strong enough to swim on its own, it swam off. My uncle, who was taping, was a little premature in the accouncement. The fish swam away on its own power and was successfully released.
