I heard that pure breed dogs like the Malamute are becoming extinct because people are getting these designer dogs(mutts) like Ladradooles etc. I heard that Malamutes and some other pure breed dog is becoming extinct. So if you like pure breed dogs get the word out so we can tray to save them.

@poppyaje A Malamute can be owned in any weather, but if you do intend on getting one you just have take precautions. In hot climate Malamutes should be indoor dogs, and when you exercise them make sure its only early in the morning or at night, and keeping water at hand. I know people in Texas who own Malamutes, and they're doing just fine :)

@poppyaje I have one that is turning 2 in march and OMG when she was a puppy she would scratch at the carpet cleaner if she went in the house and she is such a NUT! you would love one!
