Time-lapse Car Drive Thursday After Work (Jan. 5, 2012)

Time-lapse video of my drive from work to the grocery store to the car wash and down the road. This plays back at approx. 30 times faster than "real time". From start to finish, this represents about an hour and a half of my day (not represented is the time spent buying some basic groceries). It kills me how much time is lost EVERY DAY to having to drive here and there. Where the hell are our robot self-driving cars already? Seriously - what the hell is the big hold up? Oh yeah. Idiots, most of whom can't drive worth rotted zombie thumbs, are too afraid of letting intelligent computerized-cars do the driving, even though they're about a zillion times LESS likely to get into an accident than a human. Can't wait for the day when I can just hop in my car and be productive while my car does all the driving for me. Not quite as cool as Star Trek transporter technology, but a whole lot closer to reality in my lifetime... assuming worried idiot-groups and dipsh*t politicians don't get in the way things. But what are the chances of that? :-/

The video was recorded and edited on my iPhone 4S. Sorry about the somewhat blah music - it's royalty-free canned music available in iMovie (iOS version) and safe for publishing without some copyright holder's lawyers issuing YouTube a senseless take-down notice. Because removing copyrighted material from YouTube protects copyright holders... FROM FREE EXPOSURE TO POTENTIAL PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! My, my - what a sarcastic mood I am in this afternoon. LOL

Hmm... two time-lapse videos in a row. Guess I'm diggin' my time-lapse app. I wish there was an app to add a few more hours to my day!
