How do you know how much freight is on the plane? There are no Asia departures on the daytime bank of flights, only domestic postal flights, maybe one ANC flight. The MD-11 can use any runway at MEM. 18L, 18R, 27 are all the same length. 18C is only needed for a couple of the AM launches to Asia, And an occasional heavy Paris flight. The ATC folks never mention the type of plane on the tower freq only the Heavy call sign, in fact the MD-10 is still refered to as the DC-10 for all ATC purposes.

@Hypnixio -Left side is an MD-10 ---/ How do I know-- 2 ways-- I listened to the ATC playback// -- and the MD-11's Don't use 18L... they use ~ Either 18R or 18C.(longest Rnwy) (and i dont see winglets either....)

GUYS. All you are fucking PATHETIC!! You guys are arguing whether an MD10 is real or not. DC10: Good ol' DC10. MD11: Stretched DC10 with winglets and modern cockpit. MD10: DC10 with modern cockpit.
