Its good to hear Bedfordshire rave pioneer Stevie V finally getting his due as a prophet of the credit-crunch. This songs about how if you aint got money, but you still spend it anyway, life is gonna bite you in the arse, Dizzee explains. Samples sometimes come out quite tinny and thin, but I wanted this one to sound really big - like Kanye West, when he puts a Daft Punk tune in there so we got permission from Stevie V and boosted it up to make it feel brand new. I like using samples and beats from old tracks to pay tribute to what people have done in the past, and this meant even more than Fix Up, Look Sharp, cos the original track it came from was British.
Standout line: Truly its a joke/ Like a bad episode of Hollyoaks.
