@EetSmakelijk I agree :) backhand push from forehand side does look ugly as shit, but as you said, it works for him. The backhand flick from the forehand side looks a little better I think.

Dima obviously struggles against his national team mates because they're used to his unique style.

i thot dimitrij was the hope for european players.. but now this style is not gonna work
1) always backing off, looping at low point. too much time for opponents to react and the loop would be significantly less powerful
2) recovery time too long.
3) backhand is not as good as wang zhang oh, it seems in many occasions he is hitting more than looping => less control
he needs to learn from timo, at least timo is not backing off the table as much nowadays
