UFO Over Winnetka, CA

Last night/early this morning (Oct 27, 2011) a glittering object was seen racing across the black night sky. One would think it was a UFO, but for those who were better informed it was actually a Delta II rocket launched from Vandenberg AFB at 2:46 AM.
Yes, it looks like a UFO, it made virtually no sound, half way through my video it splits in two (dropped a stage) and toward the end of the video it looks like a disc. It didn't bob and weave in the sky, that was me trying to hold my camera steady on its flight. And the flickering at the end is the rocket going behind trees on my horizon.
If I were uninformed and coming home from a late party I would swear I saw a UFO.
