The Russian's string is to the left of the point of his nose at anchor. I've never seen that before. He can't be turning his head that much.

the bow drops down to let the arrow leave the bow as quick as possible, so the arrow won't change course

It is very important to release the bow 'cos during targeting the archers back 'I do not know the correct name of those muscles' muscles are holding the the energy of bow , when they release the arrow ,the bow keeper hand -by the released energy- automatically twists the bow itself and the bow hits the arrow... you should find out what happen
