  • That TQ curve looks like tits around time 3:06-7 Looks to have a slightly better HP curve on the 2-3rd pull. But why the drop off around 5800 rpm's. Super nice rev range past 8 K. Are you running a 3.75" stroke crank shaft like a 440. Or something else, I know it's not a stock forging. What does this motor weigh around 460+ Lbs. Would think it's lighter then a SB 360 in cast iron. Real nice that would go great in my 67 Barracuda. Yl

  • @ylism Thanks! I'm gonna defer some of your questions to the engine builder. I'll see if i can get him to get on here and answer some of your questions.

  • Dang John, lookin' good man! Keep up the good work. What were the final numbers exactly?

  • Hey thanks Jack! The final numbers were 861 horsepower at 8,000 RPM with a max of 596 pounds of torque. With this engine and all the chassis work your dad did, this thing oughta fly!

  • Well John my old Demon can not hang with that beast!! Congrats!! Keep up with updates.

  • Thanks! The updates would come a little more often if I had deeper pockets! LOL!!!

  • @TransAMGTA1988 You know its a badass big block when the screwdriver @ 1:43 is moving on the table

  • @OneBadSuperbird That would be great. I know there are many others that would like to know also. The motor makes close 2 HP per CI. I would say it would after some more time. I love the sound of a BB Mopar that will rev 7500 + so effortless . That is one bad SuperBird indeed. I would think with proper gearing it would run 200+ mph with ease. That's on a track like Daytona International Speedway. Best, yl

  • John... That is just Sickkkkkkk... 861HP....Do you think Marks stang has that much!?... dont forget about my dvds... call me when you get a chance

  • Nice video, nice sound.....
