On ABC's This Week, U.S. Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) states that no prisoners from Guantanamo Bay should be moved to the United States, putting him squarely at odds with President Obama.

  • no confidence in US prisons this must mean Charles Manson's family in prison is huge & many must have by now killed all the blacks & all the people waisting energy fuels OMG millions killed by Charles Manson's family he built in prison & then Timothy Mcbay prison group killed many of the rest right? only a hundred humans left in USA all the rest are member of mansons & Mcfays killer groups EEK LOL ridiculus people. lol send inocent back to country lock up guilty in US I trust our prisons!

  • Webb is a coward. Wiling to risk his son's life to fight them, but not his own to keep them locked up. What a terrible example of a father.

  • Yeah. Or they are putting their pants crapping fear of men in shackles first. You know, talk tough but quiver at the very thought of taking a risk. What a nation of pussies and cowards. You're willing to send your kids to fight them, but the adults don't want to be in the same state as them. Pathetically cowardly.

  • Americans are cowards. There is no other way of saying it. You are afraid of a bunch of traumatized Muslims in shackles. Pussies. A nation of cowards, terrified of their own shadows and what might be lurking beneath the bed. I knew your country was suffering a deficit, I has no idea that deficit was in balls. Land of the free, home of the pussies.

  • Jim Webb is right. Believe me, there are a lot of rank and file Democrats who agree with him and put national security first.

  • It wasn't the Republicans that were spitting on Vietnam veterans when they returned home. Republicans also don't ban ROTC programs and military recruitment centers. And they don't gut defense spending forcing our soldiers to fight with out of date equipment. The Republican party will always be the party that welcomes the military community. Unless the Ron Paul nuts take it over that is...

  • defense of our country has nothing to do with some political party. I have many people in my family who have fought and/or died in the wars going back to the revolutionary war. what party they belonged to, if any, varied. soldiers so not think that way. they fight for our country.

  • WHAT !!!!! he is a republican. smart guy.

  • Webb used to be a Republican.... he's a turn-coat who hasn't forgotten everything.

  • So weird, to see Jim Webb actually make sense on a matter of national security.

Clearly, he has lost his mind.
