My thoughts on three waterproof smocks from the new Berghaus range. This video covers the Elite Half Zip - a fast and light smock designed for adventure racers, the Velum - a mountaineering smock made from the new Goretex Active Shell, and the Mount Asgard smock designed in conjunction with climber Leo Houlding.
Both the Mount Asgard and Velum smocks retail for around the £200 mark, whereas the Elite Half Zip is closer to £90.
