rain water must be be collected n sent underground. The goal is to ensure that EVERY drop of rain that fell in this garden goes down and IN not out.No rain water outflow means all the water is eventually allowed to go into the earth just like in a forest.no muddy water flowing away with all that rich soil.Noway! So there s no question of soil erosion.Thats one reason a natural garden gets more n more enrich every year after year.the next generation of caretaker gets some thing rich n fertile not depleted n ruined.because all nutrients from mulch n bird droppings etc is retained. This pit is the Biggest and last pit to collect the water that reached the end of the forestfarm.in between 3 other smaller water traps are also there to try n prevent water from reaching this last pit.these are smaller n evenSipmler. That will b subject of 2 more videos soon.

  • Sorry I haven't been commenting. I've been busy. That's very interesting. Here we have rain barrels to catch the rain from our roofs. I need to get one. If I need some I'll sometimes put out a bucket. But it has to be used or covered so mosquitos don't breed in it.
