I know he'll never see this comment but im gonna post it anyways because im half asleep XD, from everyone in my family(all huskies fans) we miss that number 34 squirming out of the backfield. Anyways, good luck in the NFL, you got "The Admiral" at quarterback, you'll do great.

4.46 in the 40 and yes, he can block. Kiper mentioned it during the draft pick. The organization mentioned it when they discussed the pick.
He also looks like he protects the ball pretty well and changes hands fluidly. Nice little stiff arm. Solid moves, excellent vision and patience. Catches the ball.
Smart player - knows when and how to avoid the hit. Probably also has an excellent grasp of blocking schemes and routes..
Shines early and steals the majority of PT IMO.

this guy is gravy, hope the colts see what they have in this guy and dont give that loser addai too many carries. brown is great but hes gota get on the field, i think the colts know whats up, addai 3.5 ypc last year... on a spread offence that opens up running lanes thats not acceptable, brown would go for 3.5 ypc running backwards on the colts.
-
"fit right in with the Colts" perhaps... but he's not BLAZING fast (NCAA Corners are catching him in the open field). Can he block? That's probably going to be the true-test for Brown in 2009. We know Addai can block, and Peyton's comfort is really what matters.

very good vision, patience and speed. left too early, though? perhaps.
-
yea i don't know what you guys are talking about... this guys is fast. his combine numbers prove that.
-
NICE!!! he is a wondeful addition to my team!! he a great tandem for joe addai
-
Are you kidding me Donny went to my highschool and hes got tremendous speed. He ran his 40 yrd dash in 4.50 and his 20yrd shuttle in 4.1 sec.
-
Looks like he's going to be a pretty good back, really follows his blocks, very patient that will bode well for him in the NFL. I also hear he is very strong. My only concern is he is definitely not very fast and that may be his only weakness as guys at this level are all fast.

Definitely has shades of Barry Sanders. So smooth. And I don't know if I've seen a more patient runner come out of college than this guy. He'll fit in well at Indy, for sure.

no way is he faster then moreno. thts relly the only thing i disagrre with. If he was faster then moreno, he would be the top running back.

Well Brown ran 4.51 and Moreno ran 4.62 at the combine. Moreno ran a 4.6 at his pro day and Brown decided to sit on his combine time. It's obviously not the best "football speed" measure, but running the same day in the same conditions, Brown has run faster
