@rokku87 these drums are Chinese culture.. and they are doing 24 season drums then it comes from Malaysia by Chinese Malaysian..

I don't think where it comes from is what really matters- being able to enjoy it from an audience's perspective and even better, as a performer, is the best.
-
@cofeecat - true that. and i guess i should've said all culture from japan derives from china. i'm not sure if i was quoting someone else though... but drifting, sumo, taiko and sushi FTW!

are you stupid? Japan and China existed around the same time. Chinese drums are FROM CHINA! not japan, japan has japanese drums. Japanese culture and Chinese cultures are very different, like Arab and British, 2 different parts of the spectrum. if in SCSU they told you that thet are so stupid

you guys has no ideas how hard these player work. They are not professional, but they learn it by themself iwth no preofessional guiding. please give them some fresh air
No, Japanese drums, in fact, all major Japanese instruments except for Shinto instruments came from China. Japanese and Chinese cultures are different now but thousands of years ago they were virtually identical. This is not like the British and Arabs, it's like the British and Ancient Rome (Roman culture spread to Britain just like Chinese culture was spread to Japan).
