with all due respect... the accent is atrocious... a pity, since the song itself is so pretty and actually well sung..

@greceanu Folk singers in the 60s and 70s tended to have a strange nasal 'twang' that was as far as possible from the American accent of most pop music and equally distant from 'posh' English. To me it sounds like the shepherds joining in the song of the angels.

@RootfrootMatt i am not saying that the accent sounds poor in English. if this were an English song, my comment would have been naught but positive. This is, however, a Latin song. I therefore judge it by the pronounciation of Church Latin, which is quite close to Italian or Romanian. Gaudete should hence not be pronounced gauwdeytey, but gaudete with an e as in bed.
it is a shame that this latin has such a profound english twang to it, since the singers are for the rest quite good.
